ARTIST: Ruth Brown  TITLE:   A Late Date With Ruth Brown   LABEL:  Atlantic 1308 YEAR: 1959 MONO/STEREO: Mono LABEL DESCRIPTION: Clean.  CONDITION:  Vinyl -  Near Mint. Played once. JACKET: Super clean. (See pics.) INNER SLEEVE:   New plastic lined paper sleeve. 
ADDITIONAL NOTES: AllMusic Review by Ron Wynn  A good after-hours, smoky blues and R&B session featuring Ruth Brown in prime form. Nobody, male or female, sang with more spirit, sass, and vigor than Brown during the '50s, and this session reminded those who had forgotten that Brown could also hold her own with sophisticated material as well as sexy stuff.



The records are not play-graded.  They are graded visually according to the following standards:  Mint: Still sealed. NM: Record should look virtually unplayed, shiny, glossy, no visible marks. EX: Record may have a few minor marks or scratches but none that break the surface of the vinyl. VG: Record will have some scratches and/or noticeable marks. It should hopefully play through without much background noise. G: It should play through without skipping but have some background noise.Rough: We will only list the rarest records in this condition.  We do not grade album jackets but only comment on them.
