ARTIST: SABU MARTINEZ
TITLE: Groovin’ with
LABEL: METRONOME MLP 15316
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: SWEDEN
YEAR OF RELEASE: 1968
MATRIX CODE SIDE A: EFG 7341 A (Stamped)
MATRIX CODE SIDE B: EFG 7341 B (Stamped)
CONDITION: (vinyl/cover) NM/NM ***GREAT COPY!*** (Please read detailed information below!)
Great groovy jazz with the late and great Mr Martinez featuring Rune Gustafsson on guitar and Sture Nordin on bass. All of you readers know how essential this album is...this is a really nice copy as well.
COVER; the laminated sleeve is in really nice condition with just a few small creases and a very insignificant beginning of ringwear, slightly more evident on back, but hardly worth mentioning at all. The corners are nice with just some inevitable rubbing. It gets a NEAR MINT-grading.
VINYL; the vinyl has a really nice sheen and when held under strong light, only some light paperscuffs appear. Half a breath away from a visual NEAR MINT-grading. Some very light crackle can be heard in in the beginning of the first track on both sides respectively. The rest plays NEAR MINT, with just some occasional distant hissing. So it gets an aural NEAR MINT-grading as a whole.
LABELS; the label on side A has a minor tear and some discoloration centered at one o´clock. The label on side B has some light spindlemarks.
I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. The grading MINT (M) is hardly ever used - and at that umcommon occasion - NOT used improperly. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. MY GRADING IS STRICT and winning bidder ALWAYS has full refund minus shipping costs. PLEASE E-MAIL IF ANY CONCERNS! THANK YOU AND HAPPY BIDDING!

GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS
MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.
NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.
VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.
VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.
GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.
POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
