Description
This is a 1984 U.S. PORTRAIT RECORDS LP titled 'Diamond Lights', the debut album with nine smoky soulful tracks from Sade Adu, including her debut hit 'Smooth Operator'. It is Portrait Records U.S. catalog number FR 39581, non-gatefold cover, with the original factory shrinkwrap still surrounding the cover and with the original hype sticker still affixed to the shrinkwrap over the front cover. Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original custom inner sleeves with album credits and photos.
Tracks:
A1 Smooth Operator 4:54 A2 Your Love Is King 3:57 A3 Hang On To Your Love 5:58 A4 Frankie's First Affair 4:33 A5 When Am I Going To Make A Living 3:25 B1 Cherry Pie 6:16 B2 Sally 5:19 B3 I Will Be Your Friend 4:39 B4 Why Can't We Live Together 5:27
Condition of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Condition of cover is EX with the original factory shrinkwrap having a tear over the back cover but still surrounding the cover, and with a little bit wear along the open edge and on the corners on the open edge, no splits or tears. Custom inner sleeve has splits in the middle of all three edges which I have repaired with clear tape and a few slight wrinkles.
