Description

BRILLIANT first album by Sagittarius, "Present Tense", in STEREO on the Columbia label, from 1967.  This one is probably the cleanest and BEST example you'll find that's not sealed - this one is STILL in the ORIGINAL SHRINKWRAP and plays NEAR MINT - it's only been played a handful of times in its life.  Musically, with names like Curt Boettcher and Gary Usher involved, you know what to expect - gorgeous, floating dreamscapes of orchestrated, lush pop psych - and it goes without saying that this is one of the finest, if not THE finest, example of the soft psych sound ever.  Sure, you've heard "My World Fell Down" by now, thanks to Lenny Kaye's NUGGETS, but there are plenty of other gems here - the trippy Indian sitar psych of "Glass", the nursery rhyme toytown popsike of "Would You Like to Go", the perfect "Hotel Indiscreet", and the psychedelic "The Truth is not Real".  The pinnacle of psychedelic pop.  Original 1967 STEREO pressing on the Columbia label.  Cover's in MINT shape because it's still in the original shrinkwrap, vinyl plays NEAR MINT.  A beauty.  Winning bidder pays $4.50 for media mail shipping plus tracking in the US, $8 air mail to Canada, $14 everywhere else.  Paypal, Bidpay, cash, checks and money orders accepted.  And please be sure to check out my other auctions for more vinyl obscurities, and I will combine shipping costs on multiple wins.
