1969/Cdn/Probe  CPLP 4506…. here’s a clean original Canadian pressing of this rare psych lp. The cover is in VG++ condition with corner wear/paper loss, delete hole top right corner, otherwise solid with no splits or other issues. The vinyl is in NM condition, looks new with the exception of a couple of super light inaudible hairlines.  A super “deep groove” copy for your collection! The brainchild of original Ultimate Spinach member Steven Cataldo, the album is a fine example of the "Boston" Sound of 1969 and was conceived and recorded against the backdrop of social and political unrest of america in the Late 1960's. This was one of those records that came out of nowhere, was played on FM radio a bit and then disappeared without a trace.It was ABC/Probe Records, the same label as Soft Machine's first album in 1969. No musicians were listed inside, just the producer, engineer and cover design folks. Each side of the album was a suite, "Over the Hills" on side one and "The Bastich" on side two. The songs balances the innocent with the darker forces that we all must confront.The cover features "Saint Steven" hugging his guitar floating up in the clouds as the sun radiates around him with a drawing of a sea monster slithering down at the edge of the ocean.

MINT: as stated with no defects

NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.

INTERNATIONAL AIR POSTAGE(depending on destination) UNDER 500 grams is $18 to $24 depending on location(one regular weight lp), OVER 500 grams UP TO 1000g is $34 to $40 depending on location(usually up to 3 lp’s depending on individual weight), INTERNATIONAL AIR POSTAGE BETWEEN 1000g AND 2000g (usually between 3 and 6 lp’s depending on individual weight) is $52 to $60.
