Description
This is the "SALISBURY" UK LP by URIAH HEEP.
It is the original version issued in 1971 on the very collectable VERTIGO 'swirl' label, number 6360 028
It is a very early UK 1st press which was purchased on its release in 1971, and has the following matrix numbers:
- Side 1: 6360028 1Y * 1 420
- Side 2: 6360028 2Y * 1 1

Record is EX+, and viewed in daylight the vinyl looks completely unmarked, it does not look like a 40-year old record.
There are just a small number of hairlines on both sides, when viewed in direct sunlight - these do not affect audio quality.
The LP plays superbly, with no pops or bangs, just a couple of soft pips in the quiet section of track 2 side 1.
Please see my feedback on selling LPs over the last couple of years.
Otherwise just slight background noise in the run-in grooves of both sides.
The cover is VG+, There is handling wear on the front and back cover. There is wear on the corners, but the spine is intact and just shows wear at the top and bottom edge.
The inner sleeve is the original VERTIGO 'swirl' and is VG, with the usual ageing spots around the edges.
The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners.
