LABEL:     Specialty Records, catalog no. SPS 2116, MONO, made in USA. Plain paper inner sleeve.

YEAR:       1972. No bar code on back cover. Album first released 1969 on Specialty label.

CONDITION:

- front cover is between Exc. to NM (having a few light creases by the upper left corner, also both right corners a little touched)

- back cover is close to NM

- vinyl is close to NM both sides - possibly NM (VISUAL GRADING)

PERSONNEL:

- Sam Cooke (lead vocals) with 5-member vocal group THE SOUL STIRRERS, and band accompaniment

COMMENTS:

12 tracks, studio recordings. All original recordings made in the 50's, never before on LP. Spectacular classic gospel / negro spiritual crossover music featuring the legendary soulful vocals of Sam Cooke. Top recordings and sounding album from start to finish. Rare LP, the only copy I've ever seen. Highly recommended!
