HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY 'ONE OFF' WEDNESDAY NIGHT AUCTIONS (ENDING LATE WEDNESDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER!)!!!!

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Sam Gopal called "Escalator" and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Stable label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS EASILY THE RAREST LP ON THE STABLE LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, WITH SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES COMPARED TO LATER COPIES!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  THIS LP WAS ORIGINALLY DUE FOR RELEASE IN LATE 1968 - AND AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF 'PROMOTIONAL COPIES' WERE SENT OUT TO RADIO STATIONS PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE!!!!  THESE INCREDIBLY RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS HAD THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS '1968' DATE & 'DJ COPY' PRINTED ON THE LABELS, AND ONLY AROUND 50 COPIES WERE EVER MADE!!!!  HOWEVER, THE RELEASE WAS EVENTUALLY HELD OVER UNTIL EARLY 1969 - WITH ALL LATER COPIES HAVING THE LABEL DATE CHANGED TO 1969 INSTEAD, AND HAVING DIFFERENT LABEL TYPEFACING!!!!  BUT THIS ONE IS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE (WITH THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1968 DATE ON THE LABELS & 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS TYPEFACING!) - AND THIS WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO EVER OWN ONE (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION!)!!!!  

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL (ONLY ONCE OR TWICE AT THE VERY MOST!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SO WELL KNOWN FOR TURNING UP IN 'TRASHED' CONDITION - SO IT REALLY IS A VERY RARE TREAT TO FIND ONE IN SUCH STUNNING CONDITION LIKE THIS ONE IS!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' STABLE LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS '1968' DATE ON THE LABELS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS LABEL TYPEFACE, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS A/B MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD 'FULLY TEXTURED' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Stable UK Pressing from 1969 and is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SLE 8001 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Stable label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent++++ if not MINT(Minus)!!!!  AWESOME RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Gatefold 'FULLY Textured' Cover is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition - and is one of the best I have EVER seen!!!!  It has NO splits, NO edge wear (apart from some almost INVISIBLE 'touching in' traces!), NO residue marks, NO tape marks, only some very VERY minor traces of 'touching in' to the spinal edge (with slight side word obscuration), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL to the cover front (virtually NONE!), NO sticker marks, only the very VERY lightest rubbing to the cover back, NO sticker tears, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the 'textured' inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO sticker marks, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better - and is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find with this grading!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY AS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
