ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st pressing on the 'textured' Stable label (NOT a reissue on Earmark, Edsel …NOT a foreign issue) This is the real deal!
First pressing in a Gatefold Sleeve. A uber- rare album – essential for underground psych collectors!
Sam’s group included former Jimi Hendrix’s roadie, Ian “Lemmy” Willis (Lemmy Kilmister) to the lineup on further fuzz guitar and vocals giving it a mixed and a super crude production, with Lemmy’s vocals and fuzz guitar to the fore.
Sam Gopal – Tabla, percussion / Ian (Lemmy) Willis – Vocals, Lead & Rhythm Guitar / Roger D’Elia – Lead, Acoustic, Rhythm Guitar / Phil Duke – Bass Guitar.
The record is in great shape and plays perfect with no jumps or skips, only a few very light clicks and hardly any pops at all.
The Gatefold Sleeve is also very good but it’s scuffed on the spine at the top. That’s the only fault, There’s no splits, rips or writing. I’ve shown photos as I want you to see exactly the condition.
So to sum up – an extremely rare and original album and one that only very occasionally appears for sale! Don’t miss it!......and look….
