SAM GOPAL'S "ESCALATOR", on Stable Records, SLE 8001, in Stereo.
Featuring Lemmy - prior to his time with Hawkwind and Motorhead.
From my own collection of many years.
The record is in EXCELLENT condition. There are a couple of extremely faint surface marks visible under a strong light, but neither of these in any way affect the sound quality. I recently played both sides throughout and there are no clicks or crackles whatsoever. The sound on this original analogue recording is probably the best that one can get.
The original gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. Most examples of this textured sleeve have worn badly, but this one still has some life left in it! On the whole it looks rather good - and the spine, though rather susceptible to damage, is still straight and intact, with the original lettering showing. The inner sleeve is not the original plain paper one, but is poly-lined for better protection.
