SAMSON & HAGAR
"Reach Out To Find Me / Read My Thoughts"
(Ranwood 824) Original 1968 1st pressing Promo 45 for radio stations
Visual grading of disc: Near Mint
(Never played)
More than likely the very first recording featuring Sammy Hagar. I had spent some time with him at a few
shows backstage over the years thanks to my Music Director position at our radio station. But the last
time I saw him was in the early 90's. Although I've had this single tucked away in a box since 1968,
I never put two and two together realizing that this was him on this single until about 10 years ago.
So, I never got the chance to get the real details behind this record.
Extremely rare single. Top 40 radio programmers didn't pay much attention to discs on Ranwood since
about 99% of them were adult soft rock. As a result, this single went completely unnoticed by all, including me.
Aside from it's rare status and the fact that it features Sammy, the tune itself is a strong pop-psych endeavor.

Someone uploaded this track to YouTube awhile ago. If you're not familiar
with it, you can hear it HERE.

Continuing with the liquidation of my music collection passing them on to people who can more appreciate them.
These are items from my collection of nearly 40,000 promo 45s, LP's & CD's from the 60's thru the 00's that I was
fortunate to acquire from doing 37 years of on-air Rock Radio.
All of my records are guaranteed original pressings unless otherwise noted.
These records were sorted, stored, moved a few times, and then stored again for decades.
Most were stored carefully, some were not. All of my gradings are visual and more often than not, quite generous.
Just check my feedback. You can bid and buy with confidence.
We've been selling and shipping music worldwide since 1982.
PLEASE READ MY MY GRADING SCALE
(Near Mint and Mint Minus are not the same grade)
Near Mint: Our highest grade for an opened vinyl. Record will be close to perfect in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small hairline mark, scratch or some paper scuffs on play area but no audible distractions.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed').
Mint minus: A scuff or two or a very light mark or two on either or both sides that may possibly be heard.
VG++: One step down. A few faint marks or paper scuffs that may be audible. May show some signs of use.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will more than likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play through.
Record grading is subjective. We offer a 100% money back guarantee on everything we sell.
If there's any problem, we'll arrange a return and full refund for you.
If the problem is 'our' fault, we will pay the full return shipping cost.
