Description

Very rare Mozart – Cosi Fan Tutti 4LP box set + booklet + original inners. Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Christa Ludwig, Philharmonia orchestra and chorus conducted by Karl Bohm. HMV 1st Stereo SAN set, gold label white angel. Comes with original inner sleeves.

1963 HMV records (Cat.No.SAN 103/4//5/6). Condition: Box: Vg+ / Discs: Vg+ / Vg / Ex / Ex

Box:  graded as Vg+. Bottom right corner is split which has resulted in some splaying in this area of the box. Hinge is fully intact.

Discs: Visually all the discs are superb. They have no spindle marks, record 1 has a few light hairline surface marks and visually would be graded as Ex. All other records are stunning again with just a couple of light surface marks and all visually would be graded as Ex+.

Playing: Side 1 & 2 has some background crackle to the opening sections. Side 3 has some intermittent background crackle throughout. All other sides play well with just the odd crackle.
