Description

Here's a rare record album from THE SIGMA PI ALPHA CHOIR (San Pasqual Academy) titled GOD CREATED THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH. This was privately pressed. Not dated but photo 0of choir on back looks like mid-to-late 1960s. Choir was directed by Mr. Harold L. Hampton, Jr. and accompanied by Miss Luane Logan.
Album features two vocal ensembles. The MADRIGAL SINGERS are 17 in number and work with secular music primarily. The BEL CANTO SINGERS are a small group of 8, a double mixed quartet, and they enjoy working on literature from all periods, both secular and sacred.
