Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 1st Dutch pressing of The Sandy Coast – Sandy Coast on the Polydor label with cat. no. 2925 001, dating from 1971.
The record is in EX condition, There are a few non-sounding hairlines only. The record still looks very shiny. The labels are also in EX condition, I could not find any spindle marks.
The gatefold cover is in EX minus condition, there is only some slight wear along the top and bottom edge and a tiny name is written on the inside of the gatefold. Besides mentioned tiny defects, there is nothing wrong with the cover, it looks great.
This is the rare 1st Dutch pressing of Sandy Coast’s 4th album, with gatefold cover and 1st printed Polydor labels. This pressing is not easy to find, especially in this condition. The later pressings (with single sleeve and later Polydor labels) are quite easy to find. How often do you see this one in a condition like this? Also worth mentioning is that this album features their world hit True Love That's a Wonder. This is your chance to obtain this first Sandy Coast album, a real must have for all Dutch beat collectors! Happy bidding!
