Description

Vinyl test pressings of 3 of the 4 discs from 1985's Who Knows Where the Time Goes Sandy Denny box set on Hannibal Records. Performances are by Sandy Denny solo and with Fairport Convention, Fotheringay, The Strawbs, and The Bunch, and includes a mix of previously released songs, as well as unreleased out-takes and live, demo, and BBC recordings. The discs are in plain white sleeves with handwritten indications on their center labels—each with HNBX-5301 (the Hannibal Records catalog number), and then, I believe, a 1, 2, and 3, indicating which discs they are from the 4-lp set. Track listing is as follows: Disc 1, side A: The Lady, Listen Listen, Next Time Around, Farewell Farewell, The Music Weaver, Tomorrow Is A Long Time Disc 1, side B: The Quiet Joys Of Brotherhood, The Pond and the Stream, One Way Donkey Ride, Take Away The Load, One More Chance Disc 2, side A: Bruton Town, Blackwaterside, Tam Lin, The Banks of the Nile Disc 2, side B: Sail Away To the Sea, You Never Wanted Me, Sweet Rosemary, Now and Then, Autopsy, It’ll Take a Long Time Disc 3, side A: Two Weeks Last Summer, Late November, Gypsy Davey, Winter Winds, Nothing More, Memphis, Tennessee Disc 3, side B: Walking the Floor Over You, When Will I Be Loved, Whispering Grass, Friends, Solo, After Halloween All are in excellent condition.All proceeds from this auction will be donated to New Orleans Area Habitat For Humanity and the New Orleans Musicians Clinic.
