THE VINYL   MINT-  INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the  ORIGINAL 1971 UK PRESSING WITH THE ORANGE LABELS & STAMPED MATRIX NUMBERS - Stored from new this LP has seen possibly A HANDFUL of careful  plays only, and plays superb.

Easily as good a copy as we have ever auctioned.. Becoming so collectable in this complete first edition

STORED AND FILED AWAY SINCE 1971

This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

ONE TINY spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There are  a few light whisp lines, a couple of feint hairlines that does not sound  and thats it-  nothing else!  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..

IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through we heard nothing bar the tiniest of lead in static in the dead grooves..The LP has some light dust on it where it has ben archived for so long, so a professional hoover cleaner will remedy this to even better play!!

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE SLEEVE     EX STRONG

Correct  first UK issued earliest 'INSIDE OPENER' GATEFOLD MATT SLEEVE  -with the SQUARE WIDE spine.

Later sleeves had a thinner spine and slightly glossier finish..AND standard opening, this is straight from 1971-

No powdery  ringwear - some light ring rub on the top back sleeve, and some light edge rub

some light rub over the edge of the spine.

The spine edge  leans as all copies did

some tiny tip rub.

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -just some light tip rub - superb.

THE GATEFOLD IS PRISTINE (See pic) no rub or wear

THE INNER SLEEVE   MINT-

 ORIGINAL PAT PRINTED INNER . NO SPLITS OR DISCOLOURATION.
