Description
This is an extremely hard to find album by SANTANA titled HOT & ALIVE. It is an original 1973 pressing, a GENUINE TRADE MARK OF QUALITY DISC.
The tracks are pressed in beautiful translucent sky blue vinyl (see pics). The record is in great shape, a strong VG+. It plays great. Labels are nice. The songs are: Instrumental Intro, You Just Don't Care, Every Day of My Life, Waiting, Treat, and Gumbo. The only problem is one loud pop at the very beginning of side 2.
It is a great quality recording from 1973. The band sounds great and it is a strong performance, sounds just like you are there!
The cover is not bad, it grades a VG-. It has a 3 inch seam split in the top middle and the spine has small writing and cracking, minimal ring wear. It features the original metallic promo sticker with the famous pig!
The package also includes the original insert with some great artwork by Mr. William G. Stout, in nice shape. This is the rarest version of the album, blue wax with pink cover and green insert: TMQ71073 Very hard to find
All in all, this is a great album. It plays well, sounds fantastic, looks nice, and is a real piece of history. It is the only TMOQ Santana release and is an amazing performance by one of the greatest bands of the 70s.
