Original Kentucky coalfields music covered by a soulful singer in Sarah Ogan Gunning, evoking the spirit of the deep South heritage. The film 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou' has been a popular document basing on this music and culture. It's an even quality album throughout and a lovely pressing too, heavy vinyl and nicely produced. This is a fine piece, especially in such wonderful shape.
