SATAN’S RATS – Year Of The Rats *ORIG DJM 45* DJS 10821 (UK, Stereo, 1978)

Here’s a classic first-wave 45 from the golden era of UK punk. Satan’s Rats’ 2nd single is not often found these days – particularly in such good condition as this.
The original black and white pic sleeve is an absolutely top example and I’ll wager you won’t find it much better 35 years on. It comes from a top collection of rare ’76 – ’79 UK Punk and has been meticulously looked after. NO creases, splits, tears or nicks. NO writing, stickers or residue. Just a few signs of light handling and slight storage rubs away from true Mint. I’ll say EX+ (Excellent Plus) but essentially this is very close to mint and should not disappoint.
The original black/yellow DJM labels are great – couple of light handling signs but that’s it. NO writing, rips, residue. Hardly any spindle evidence around the centre hole. No worries!
The vinyl shows a couple of fine faint hairlines and some fine sleeve removal (ultra) light lines. Maintains great shine and many would say near mint. I’ll grade a solid and true EX (Excellent) hoping to please. IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays tip-top with silent run-ins, NO snap, crackle or pop, NO ticks, clicks or hiss and NO distortion or lack of definition. M- (Mint Minus) play grade – probably as it sounded when issued in ’78.
A brilliant condition package of a rare punk original. Your money back if you don’t agree!
