Matrix TRIX1 - 1973 UK

On sale an original copy of the first and only album by the UK progressive group SATURNALIA, issued in 1973 and one of the first PICTURE DISCS ever produced.
Original copies had Holographic 3D labels applied to the vinyl, a booklet and a ticket voucher for the band's Rainbow concert, this is a COMPLETE copy.
The record is often dated 1969, but this is absolutely wrong, as it was recorded in late 1972 and the Rainbow concert was held in April 1973.

The record is currently valued 150 Pounds on 2016 Record Collector Price Guide.

COVER - The clear cover is in EX condition, with a small split on one side.
The record has always been stored in a protective plastic bag since I bought it more than 20 years ago and this has prevented damages caused by the contact with the outer cover.

INSERTS - The 28-page colour booklet is in Excellent condition, with one of the staples starting to detach from the cover; the ticket voucher is in Mint condition.

VINYL - Visually bright and shiny, plays as always with some surface noise in quietest parts.
My grading is VG+.
Record playgraded using a Shure V15-Type III stylus at 1.5gr.

MATRIX NUMBERS - Machine stamped, TRIX 1SP-A-1 and TRIX 1/SPA-B 1

LABELS - Original 3D Plastic labels in perfect condition, still glued to the vinyl.

In vendita una copia originale del primo ed unico album del gruppo progressive inglese SATURNALIA, uscito nel 1973, uno dei primi PICTURE DISC mai prodotti.
Le copie originali del disco avevano delle etichette olografiche tridimensionali applicate al vinile, un libretto a colori e un buono per un biglietto per il concerto del gruppo al Rainbow di Londra. La copia qui in vendita è COMPLETA.
Il disco viene spesso datato 1969, in realtà venne registrato a fine '72 e il concerto di promozione al Rainbow Theatre si tenne nell'aprile 1973.

Il disco è valutato 150 Sterline nell'ultima edizione (2016) della Record Collector Price Guide.

COPERTINA - La copertina in spessa plastica trasparente è in condizioni EX con un piccolo strappo lungo un lato.
Il disco è stato sempre conservato in una busta protettiva standard trasparente da quando l'ho comprato oltre 20 anni fa e questo ha evitato i danni da contatto con la busta esterna.

INSERTI - Il libretto a colori di 28 pagine è in condizioni EX, unico difetto il parziale distacco di uno dei punti che tengono la copertina; il buono per il biglietto del concerto al Rainbow è in condizioni Mint.

VINILE - Visivamente pulito brillante, suona (come sempre per questo disco) con rumore di fondo contenuto nelle parti a volume più basso. Valutazione VG+.
Disco suonato con una testina Shure V15-Type III del peso di 1.5 gr.

ETICHETTE - Originali in plastica con effetto tridimensionale, in condizioni perfette e ancora attaccate al vinile.
