SATURNALIA magical world

One of the most legendary UK heavy psych LPs of all time, a true oddity that is a picture disc with 3D holograms from 1971! This was recorded by members of HORSE (on Rca) and produced by madman Keith Relf  (Yardbirds etc)

They mix heavy psych freakouts with more mellow acid folky tunes, both female and male vocals, they even do two HORSE tracks on the LP. The whole LP have a satanic / astrological / magical feeling and there is no wonder that this is compared with Black Widow!

The record itself is in great condition with just a few hairlines, considering it has been in a hard plastic sleeve without any cover for almost 40 years a truly amazing condition. Even the hard plastic cover is almost fully intact, this is usually fully split but this copy have only a few slight .

Record play with light crackle as you can hear but even mint copies do that because of the nature of the picture discs.  You can listen to the full album just below this - a mighty fine copy!

GRADES:

Grades are sleeve/record. Only one grade means there is no picture sleeve. If there is a picture sleeve missing to this issue I will note it in the description.

My scale of grades goes from M- / EX / VG++ / VG+ / VG  to VG-

I may or may not add any details to the description if needed. Do always check the picture before bidding. If you are uncertain o how a particular record play or looks, please email me and I try to email you with a detailed description! Sometimes a record looks like a VG but play like a EX then i usually grade it VG+ and if the visual and the playback differ much I will try to describe that.

Note that  all soundfiles are from the records I am selling - allthough in a low bitrate MP3 format so they will sound better in real life. Records playgraded and recorded on a Technics 1200 with ortofon needle - I can´t tell how it plays on any other record player.
