Description
Decca SKL 5066, reportedly the second pressing with the (outer) glossy laminated gatefold sleeve. But the respective matrices are XZAL-1072.P-1W and XZAL-1073.P-1W so make of that what you will.
The double sleeve is in generally good order with no rips, tears or writing. The spine ends have a tad of rub wear and the inner plain sides show some age browning. Overall has to be 8.5 /10 for condition.
The labels are clean as shown with evidence of a handful of plays of the vinyl.
For the disc itself, it's flat and shiny and weighs 129g on the digital scale.
Angling the record in room daylight it looks great. Under the all-seeing and unforgiving table lamp I see some fine hairlines and removal scuffs so I'm plumbing for 8 /10 for visual condition.
And finally, the original Decca blue/white stereo poly-lined sleeve is in remarkably good shape for its' age, feeling clean and fresh to the touch.
To conclude, this copy would not shame any collection.
