Description
Savoy Brown's Blues Band - I Tried / Can't Quit You Baby 1966 7" Single
VERY, VERY RARE BLUES & HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION BUT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS KIND OF SHAPE. FIRST PRESS ISSUE, FIRST PRESS LABELS & FIRST PRESS MATRIX NUMBERS - Please see pics for full identification.
PURDAH RECORDS - VER 126 / VER 127
Sleeve - Plain white paper.
Vinyl - Very Good. I've played both sides from beginning to end and they play really nicely. There is some low-level surface noise during quiet stretches and a couple of pops on Can't Quit You Baby but nothing that overpowers the sound at all. The vocals and instruments sound is superb and its a great copy, conservatively graded. Record lies flat on the turntable.
This will be posted in a very strong, purpose made professional record mailer, to protect your purchase, with signature required. The postage is higher to cover full insurance, due to value of item. If there is a big difference, I will refund any overpayment, minus my costs.
Bid with confidence - please see my 100% positive feedback (1300+ since 2007).
Thanks for looking and please take a look at my other records for sale! Postage can be combined if multiple purchases fit into the one mailer - usually 3 single LPs or 2 Doubles or 3x Singles.
