Vinyl Sound: This records have not been cleaned by me, I don't have a really good, professional type cleaner. All six sides do have some light background noise. This is the static-y dust type noise. The kind of noise that a good cleaner or system will get rid of. Most, if not all of it. There is ticking or popping that I can hear. No skipping.
The quality of the recording sounds wonderful to me, the music and voices sound fabulous. As I said, there is only some light background noise and even this didn't take away from the beauty of the music to me.
Vinyl Cosmetics: All six sides have no scratches. Only some very light spindle marks on a few of the labels, there is a photo of each label and side below. Under regular light there are a few lines and scuffs noticible on sides 5 & 6, you can see these in the photos of this after the photos of 5th & 6th labels and sides below. These marks are light surface marks. I plyed through these scuffs and lines, they have no effect on the sound at all. All the vinyl is nice and shiny, labels also excellent, see photos. Under harsh halogen light you can see some residue from previous cleanings and a few very light small sleeve scuffs on sides 2 & 3, couldn't see them in regular light. Overall, except for the lines and scuffs mentioned above on sides 5 & 6, these records look great. They come in original lined sleeves. These are fine except for some yellowing with age.
Box & Paper: The box has worn areas the corners, see close-up photos below of two worst. There is a small two inch slit in the plastic seam at the top in the middle, see close-up photo below. There is wear and discoloration along the bottom of the box, see photo. The picture on the front of box is fine except for some light scuffs and lines. And elsewhere on the box there are a few light wear spots and small rounds stains. But box is solid, not falling apart at all. The inner card and booklet have very slight shelfware, mostly yellowing some with age, no stains or creases, see photos.
I have sold about two dozen records like this, older, UK pressings. I have described each in the manner that I have above and no buyer has written me questioning my evaluation of their purchase. Please see my feedback for positive feedback from these buyers. Also I take great care in packing, all but one of the records I've sold has been shipped to an overseas location, mostly across the Pacific to Asian countries, but also to Europe, they have all arived safely.

PLEASE READ THESE PARAGRAPHS ABOUT SHIPPING AND POSTAGE COST:
As you may have noticed lately, the shipping costs you see in auctions has really gone up! This is because in the last year the Post Office has not only raised its prices, it has also changed the way it determines how much it will cost to ship a package. The old way was based on the weight of the package, not the size of the box (unless it was very large). But now both the weight AND size of the package determines the cost of shipping.
As an example: Take the Priority Mail cost of sending from California (where I am) to New York two packages that each weigh exactly 2 pounds. The first box measures (in inches): 12x12x12, the second box measures 13x12x12. It will cost $7.50 to send the 12x12x12 inch box, but it will cost $25.05!!! to send the 13x12x12 inch box, even though they both weigh the same! Yikes! And if the box were bigger it could cost even more!
The reason I write this is to reassure you that I will always do my best to find the least expensive way of getting you your item. I will list the best shipping options available and I will use the smallest box that I can SAFELY package an item in, if it will save you money. (I pride myself on my packing, and I won't cut corners when it comes to careful packing. Check my feedback). This goes for foreign buyers as well as those in the USA.
And you pay ONLY the actual postage cost. I never charge for packing materials or charge a handling fee. And if I do happen to make a mistake in how much it costs to ship an item and you overpay on postage, I will ALWAYS refund the overcharge.
