Description

This is another sale from my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.


1959 pressing of Uk Columbia SAX 2303 blue/silver Ravel "Daphnis et Chloe" Suite No. 2, Bizet "Carmen" Suite No. 1 and Respighi "The Pines of Rome" from Alceo Galliera conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra. Gold stereophonic Sticker on front sleeve and "s" arrows to the spine.Sleeve is in excellent condition, some wear on the opening and the non-laminated part of the back cover is slightly discoloured with age. Inner sleeve is in nice condition. Would visually grade record as near Mint. It plays on my Linn Sondek with no skips, jumps or repeated clicks,  just some crackle in places on side 2.


Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
