SAX 2335 b/s – ANNIE FISCHER – MOZART PIANO CONCERTOS Nos. 20 & 23
1960 Columbia stereo recording on blue/silver label catalogue number SAX 2335. Annie Fischer playing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.20 in D minor and No.23 in A major with Sir Adrian Boult conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra.
Side 1 has light surface marks plus an area about 1½cm square with very light scratches. Audibly there are 6 loud consecutive ticks in the 2nd movement and about 8 very faint random ticks elsewhere. Side 2 has no visible marks but there are about 10 ticks (only 2 loud). Apart from that both sides play beautifully. The thick card sleeve is rather grubby (evidence of label removal on front) with a 1cm split at bottom right corner.
