EMI COLUMBIA SAX 2420 (1961):
BRAHMS:
Symphony no.1
Philharmonia Orchestra
conducted by
Carlo Maria GIULINI
UK EMI cut (-4/-3) and pressed.
1st (pale green & silver) label
CONDITION:
Overall: Very Good Plus.
Quite a few superficial lines and marks on both sides. There appears to be no actual damage but the disc does look to have been played a lot and visually it falls short of the best condition.
Several spindle marks on each side but visually the disc is in excellent condition with a healthy rainbow sheen and the look of a disc which has not been played often and has been looked after carefully.
Looks very carefully handled.
Sleeve: Rather "flat" feel.
Front glazed finish fine but a hint of ring-pressure.
All edges fine.
Slight wear to all corners.
Rear has slight browning and some discolouration.

POSTAGE
(A NOTE ABOUT UK POSTAGE)?I use a strong purpose made mailing envelope to send LPs.
?These cost about £0.40p each.?I remove the disc from its sleeve to avoid seam splits resulting from movement in the post.?I pack the disc in a poly liner and then insert two stiff cardboard squares to stiffen the package to avoid damage in the post.
??The package now costs £2.51p to post within the UK.?Add in the 40p for the mailing envelope and you will see that 9 pence is left over for my time and a certain amount of parcel tape!?
UK: £3
EU/SCANDINAVIA: £5
USA: £6
REST OF WORLD: £7
