Description
Excellent copy of the rare Columbia UK stereo LP, SAX 2490, George Szell conducts Russian Music with the Cleveland Orchestra. Original Turquoise/Blue and Silver label, BC-1002 A-1/BC-1002 B-1 matrix numbers.
Front-laminated, flipback sleeve has a few light edge and thumb creases, a little corner wear and very light ringwear. Overall, the sleeve is in splendid shape, with lovely colour and glossy laminate; it certainly grades EX.
Vinyl is extremely clean and shiny, and flat, with no warp, a very well looked after example, with just a couple of barely noticeable, very small hairlines. There is also a more pronounced small mark on side 2, band 1, which does cause a few light repetitive clicks, but looks worse than it sounds. Audio is very strong, with a very little surface noise in quieter parts, to be expected from these vintage pressings, and a few light clicks, but these do not detract from the wonderful stereo sound. Overall, vinyl grades EX to EX+.
