GRADING
SLEEVE: EX
Sleeve is robust and clean. There is some light yellowing to the unlaminated rear. This is slight and uniform. There is no staining or marking to the rear. The laminated front piece is superb with some very light feathering at the aperture. The laminated front is bright and clean with no discolouration. The edges are sharp and crisp with no scuffing or wear. The spine is perfect being bright, straight and completely unflattened.
RECORD: EX+
The record is in wonderful condition both visually and audibly having been fully play tested. A couple of very light sleeve removal marks can be seen under bright light. These are entirely superficial. The entire record sounds absolutely sublime with no deterioration in sound quality whatsoever. There are no repetitive pops or clicks, no background crackle and no distortion. A genuinely superb copy of a supremely beautiful recording.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
