GEORGE SZELL - United Kingdom LP - Stereo


1) Very rare Original,authentic United Kingdom earliest 1st pressing of the 1965 album by George Szell conducting The Cleveland Orchestra - Brahms Symphony No.3. Variations on a Theme by Haydn

2) On Columbia label Catalogue no.SAX 2572 with Matrix no`s 6685 A-1E. 6685 B-1E. Mothers 1  R. 1 G. With "Sold In UK" on both labels.

4) The vinyl is very clean & shiny with a few small hairlines under light EXC++. The labels are very clean with whisper of spindle mark under light otherwise N/M++. B label has MT stamp.The audio has 5 very light pops on B Side,3 of which are on the last 12 seconds of the record otherwise plays Absolutely Superb(virtually like new). No noise between tracks. Music comes over loud & clear.The Garrod & Lofthouse "Patents Pending" laminated(front) F/B sleeve is very, very clean EXC++. Solid nipped-In top & bottom pristine spine. Original  EMI "Patents Applied For" poly lined, die cut, advertising Inner Sleeve EXC.

5) Tracks: A. 1St.Movement: Allegro con brio / 2nd Movement: Andante / 3rd Movement: Poco allegretto. B. 4th Movement: Allegro.

6) Cherished well cared for condition and amazingly now Half-a-Centuy old!!.....which says it all.

7) Had since new(sister)been in protective sleeve approx the last 30 years.
