Description
Extremely hard to find Columbia SAX 1st label (Blue/Silver Radio Waves) of Nathan Milstein playing Prokofiev's Two Concetos for Violin and Orchestra (including accompaniment by the Philharmonia, conducted by Carlo Giulini). This is an Australian made pressing (Cat No. SAXO 5275). Sleeve is in EX condition. Some ring wear visible but the seams are straight and solid and otherwise there's only light signs of shelf wear.
Vinyl is in NM- condition. Virtually no spindle marks visible on the label and the vinyl is glossy and black.
This is a beautiful example of what is a rare, highly sought after, sonically stunning recording. It comes from my private collection and I'm sure the successful bidder will be delighted with their purchase.
