1967 recording of Uk Columbia SAX 5281/2 red semi label Mahler Symphony No. 9 performed by The New Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Otto Klemperer. Sleeve is a flip back sleeve. The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are YAX 3357-4 YAX 3358-4 YAX 3359-2 YAX 3360-7.
Grading
Visually graded the vinyl under a task lamp. Side one has small area of sleeve/paper marks and spider marks around the spindle hole. Would visually grade as Excellent. Side two has some light scratches and spider marks around the spindle hole. Would visually grade as VG. Side three and four have spider marks around the spindle hole. Would visually grade both sides as Excellent. It plays well on my Linn Sondek, no skips, jumps or repeated clicks. Side 1 has a few pops and some crackle. Side 2 has a few pops in two places. Side 3 and 4 play with only some occasional crackle. Sleeve is in VG condition, no rips or tears but some wear and marks. There is some writing on top right hand corner on the rear of both sleeves. Inner sleeve has some yellowing with age.
Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
