Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This album really does earn the title of one of those psychedelic relics. It seems to be very much of a psych exploitation piece, with likely B-list session players rocking away. The concept here seems to be with the sounds effects slathered on to each track. It's all pretty entertaining for those who are market for that sound of thing, groovy background music deep into a decadent hipster party.
Contribution to avant psychedelia (50 Foot Hose, United States Of America, Silver Apples, Friendsound, et.al.), the work of The Mesmerizing Eye might just trump them all, insofar as all of the aforementioned will periodically come up for air and give the listener a chance to regain their orientation and equilibrium. The Mesmerizing Eye will have none of that sorta pussyfooting about. From the word go, this is a brainfrying mindfuck that sounds like the most twisted bits of Friendsound ("everyone must eat rhubarb pie...") nerve-rattlingly dragged out for the album's duration. Searing acid guitar, air raid sirens, crying babies, thunderstorms, detuned marching bands staggering past...and all of that in just the first few minutes. All you psychonauts have been duly warned. The vinyl: al;l glossy over both sides, clean VG++ with only very light top surface scuffs that do not reflect in the excellent clean playing audio ... both SMASYH labels are clean
