We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This high quality audio sound should replace the need to hunt down the '69 press and fork over 4-$ figures and this edition includes the massive killer non Lp 45 "MAGIC POTION" b/w "Cast A Spell" -- the former which blew many minds when first appeared out of nowhere on an obsure British psych comp some 20 years ago, and a highlight on this album, again, not on the '69 pressing!
One of the best-loved British psychedelic albums of all time, The Open Mind is a hard-rocking collection that sold in micro- numbers on its original release in 1969.
The OPEN MIND was formed in the mid 1960s by four musicians from South London. Initially named The Drag Set, they released a little-known single in February 1967, "Day and Night"/"Get Out of My Way". Shortly thereafter, they changed their name to The Open Mind and in July 1969 released a self-titled LP which has since become a highly sought-after collectible. The band, however, is best known for its druggy August 1969 single, "Magic Potion", which did not appear on the album.

The OPEN MIND are not afraid to mix things up, with their odd harmonies and rhythm changes. Within their hard edge crunch, there is also some cool fuzz guitar, driving bass and drums. The vocal harmonies, at times, almost sound like they are switching keys from what the instruments are doing. The singer is a musician and not just fronting the band.
