Description
Bukka White, Memphis Hot Shots (Blue Horizon S 7-63229) (1969). An original Blue Horizon recording, made at Ardent Studios in Memphis in 1969 with accompaniment by local musicians including Bill Barth (guitar). Produced by Mike Vernon. The cover art caused some controversy at the time; so--with some blues enthusiasts--did the music.
Condition: disc clean, with no visible signs of wear or damage. Jacket has numerous creases in the lamination, and other minor signs of wear, but no significant damage. The front has a white sticker with the words "Drastically Reduced 72p". This could probably be removed by steaming it off, but some may consider it an amusing extra feature of this curious item. A record very much of its time, and an essential addition to a Blue Horizon collection.
