Various Artists, Live at the 'Fickle Pickle' (Flyright LP549) (1979).

Live recordings made at the Fickle Pickle club in Chicago in the early '60s by George Mitchell. Excellent performances by Johnny Jones, Maxwell Street Jimmy, John Henry Barbee, Billy Boy Arnold, Blind James Brewer and Big Joe Williams. To the best of the seller's knowledge these recordings are not available elsewhere.

Long-Haired Doney/Sloppy Drunk/Big Road Blues/Sugar Mama/Early in the Morning/Smokestack Lightning/My Little Machine/Going to the River &c -- 13 tracks in all.

Condition: disc near-new. Jacket has one corner clipped and slight tanning along the top edge but is otherwise excellent.
