Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Music from the long lost JAMES PAUL McCARTNEY TV special broadcast 10 May 1973.Back in early 1973, Paul McCartney was experiencing a new peak in his post-Beatles career. His song “My Love” reached the top of the U.S. music charts, and he was tapped to offer the first rock music theme song for James Bond film “Live and Let Die.” But McCartney also faced problems. Sir Lew Grade, who controlled half of the publishing royalties for McCartney’s songs, was threatening the star with legal action for the somewhat questionable crediting of his wife Linda as co-writer of the tunes. In order to avoid a court showdown, McCartney agreed to star in a one-shot special for Grade’s ATV in return for Linda receiving songwriting royalties. Although McCartney presented the special as being a collaborative effort with his new band Wings, the focus was almost entirely on him and Linda. ABC broadcast the special on April 16. 1973. The performance was very highly anticipated – McCartney received a cover story on TV Guide. After its initial broadcast, “James Paul McCartney” vanished from public view. The special has never been made available for commercial home entertainment release. For McCartney addicts that never experienced this production, this rare 1975 vinyl recording is your only hope! McCartney never showed fondness for this special, later dismissing it as “just another gig.” Whether he will ever get around to bringing “James Paul McCartney” back for re-release is highly doubtful.
