Tenneva Ramblers, Miss 'Liza, Poor Gal/Bull Mountain Moonshiners, Johnny Goodwin (Vi 21141) (recorded 1927).

From the historic 1927 Bristol, TN-VA recording session, this disc cross-couples a spirited song by the Grant Brothers' band, up till then working with Jimmie Rodgers, and the only issued side by the Bull Mountain Moonshiners, featuring the McReynolds brothers on fiddle and banjo, ancestors of Jim & Jesse McReynolds. Great music!

V-, edging towards V on Johnny Goodwin. Plays a little above grade.
