Description

Following a brief interval to deal with family matters, another bunch of 78s from the past. As time is still at a premium at this end I will be listing records on a "rolling" basis over the next seven days. So please do keep looking! In most cases these are my shelf copies; others are duplicates from a small collection I bought recently.As well as 78s, I still have the odd book and catalogue to go out, plus a few theatre programmes. I have graded as conservatively as always. Whilst some of these look a bit "scruffy" all those I've play-checked play a bit better than graded. Good luck!

  

TITLES:- "How Come You Do Me Like You Do/Hot, Hot Hottentot" on Vocalion 14967. 

Two fine hot sides by the Tennessee Tooters, a group somewhat similar in sound to the Original Memphis Five. Visually this disc is E-, and it plays  to this grade -and a bit better- on my set-up here. Some light scuffing and scratches on both sides.

POSTAGE and SHIPPING   As a long-time collector and buyer myself, I am all too aware of how much it costs to pack and ship fragile 78s, and have never charged more than is necessary to meet that cost. To ship one disc to the USA works out at about $25, including the cost of the box. Obviously, a parcel with three or four discs works out cheaper per disc. I normally ship overseas at Air Mail, Small Packet rate. (I will ship via Surface Mail if asked, but this usually means you wait up to eight weeks for your parcel.....and, curiously, it's not that much cheaper!)  As always, if anyone is concerned about shipping costs please contact me before the listing ends, and I'll do my best to help. FINALLY....PLEASE WAIT for my invoice before paying for your discs! The final shipping cost may well be less than Ebay's "standard" figure.
