DAG ERIK ASBJORNSEN - SCENTED GARDENS OF THE MIND (A GUIDE TO THE GOLDEN ERA OF PROGRESSIVE ROCK (1968-1980) IN MORE THAN 20 EUROPEAN COUNTRIES). The book offered for sale here is a true masterpiece of rock journalism, a comprehensive guide to european prog rock, written with encyclopaedic knowledge, as well as with passion for progressive rock. The book contains 552 pages, it is well-illustrated, most entries contain personnel details, discographies and a description of the music. Since its publication in 2000 by BORDERLINE PRODUCTIONS, WOLVERHAMPTON UK, it achieved cult and I would even say (semi)mythical status among collectors of european rock. This book was sold in 2000 by HMV in their flagship store in London`s Oxford Street, they had one display copy (for customers to look through) and the rest were sealed by the shop to preserve their brand new, just printed look. I`ve bought 2 copies, you can see my own opened copy on the photo, and the second copy, which remained sealed for the last 12 years is offered for sale in this listing. The original HMV shopping bag will be included with the item for the winning bidder. Once again - the book is BRAND NEW, SEALED.
