Folks, from the legendary Swedish MONSTER LP I AM THE SCORPION,
THE most important album to come out of the Swedish prog/psych scene !!
Here we have their 1st single from that album ".Michoican" but this copy is NOT the standard release, it´s way better....
The standard release has the track "Everybody Knows My Name" as B-side,
but this is the INSANELY RARE 1st mispressed version that instead plays the track "Sagitarius" on the B-side.
From what i´ve heard, only a handfull of copies made it out on the market,
and was fast pulled back to the pressing plant, who corrected this issue.
I´m not a 100% sure about this though, some even say NO mispressed copies made it out on the market.
Through my 20+ years collecting i have NEVER found another mispressed copy, this is it !
This copy also comes without the cover, maybe an indication they found out about the problem
before even prining the sleeves !?
Anyways, this is a RARE one for sure, a very collectable Swedish prog/psych 45 !
You´ll be hard pressed ever finding another one, so don´t miss out...
If you don´t know anything about I Am The Scorpion, here´s some quick info for you:
" This album is as heavy and rough as music got in 1970, and is up there with the best and rawest US garage rock of the era.
I Am the Scorpion is a truly wild affair, sometimes reminiscent of the Stooges or any other late 60's/early 70's Detroit band of your choice.
Side A of the album is hard-boiled psych rock with frantic fuzz guitars.
the best and most important prog album to come out of Sweden ! "
