EXCELLENT LYRIC INSERT

Features the highly controversial nude pre-pubescent girl that was produced initially in Germany and France and was instantly banned (quite rightly too! What right-minded parents would let their daughter pose for this?!!!)
It caused outrage in the band too as this was allegedly produced without their consent. The front cover image was replaced for the rest of the market with the much less outrageous band image from the back cover!

SO, A VERY HARD TO FIND COPY OF THIS CLASSIC SCORPIONS ALBUM - IN SUPERB CONDITION WITH AWESOME AUDIO PLAYBACK



FIRSTLY: I ALWAYS, ALWAYS LISTEN TO AND AUDIO GRADE EVERY ALBUM/SINGLE/EP. Visual gradings are ok, but can be very misleading in my experience! I've had mint-looking vinyl sound like a dog! And, reasonably scratched vinyl sound great! So it's got to be listened to to give an honest and accurate appraisal. And that's what you always get from me. 

Also, I list every item with LOADS of pictures detailing everything about this item. I hide nothing in my listings and point out all visible/audible flaws (if any!), as well as the good bits! That way you can rest assured you get exactly what is described. Every vinyl is thoroughly cleaned and listened to from start to finish, right the way through! So there's no unexpected disappointments when you receive your vinyl.

VINYL - LOOKS AWESOME - A SIDE HAS A COUPLE OF SCUFFS THAT INITIALLY LOOK WORRYING, BUT DO NOT AFFECT SONG PLAYBACK THANKFULLY. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR AUDIO GRADE. B SIDE IS UNMARKED.

AUDIO:
SUPERB AUDIO, NICE AND QUIET INITIAL RUN-INS. TOP AUDIO ON SONG PLAYBACK. THE SCUFFS ON SIDE A MAKE A FEW LIGHT CLICKS BETWEEN SONGS 1 AND 2 - DO NOT AFFECT EITHER SONG. THE SECOND SCUFF JUST ABOUT MAKES A FEW LIGHT CLICKS ON THE FADE OUT OF TRACK 3 (IN YOUR PARK) AND IN THE RUN IN TO TRACK 4, BUT DO NOT AFFECT TRACK 4 AT ALL. JUST TO REITERATE - YOU CANNOT HEAR THESE SCUFFS AT ALL OTHER THAN IN THE RUN INS AND ON THE FADE OUT MENTIONED. THE POWER AND VOLUME ON THIS MEGA-RARE PRESSING IS SIMPLY STUNNING. CHUCK OUT YOUR CDS AND LISTEN TO VINYL!






Having bought a lot of vinyl over the years, and a fair bit from ebay sellers recently, I've been massively disappointed with many sellers' descriptions. Many have overgraded their records to the point of being hysterical in their descriptions! So, to avoid the same mistakes, I've detailed my opinions on grading below (removing all the minuses and pluses that seem to be infecting gradings too) and trying to give an honest appraisal of the record visually, and more importantly from how it sounds - these are not artworks to be viewed after all! I grade at a loud volume using a top quality turntable/cartridge and headphones, so I hear everything! Some of my criticisms on sound are me being ultra picky and you may not hear these if listened to through speakers rather than headphones.
As always, these gradings are subjective - so if you disagree with my gradings to such an extent, then a full refund will be offered or a partial discount, should this be appropriate and acceptable to both parties.

MINT (M) - the 'holy grail' of vinyl - in my opinion, it doesn't exist! As soon as it's been handled, taken out or put into a sleeve (and certainly if it's been played, even once!) then it isn't mint. It just can't be! Therefore, my highest possible grading will only ever be NM. And even then, it would have to be superb to meet that standard.

NEAR MINT (NM) - looks and plays without any flaw whatsoever, cover and vinyl must look perfect with no visible scratches or scuffs at all, not one.  There must be no audible pops, clicks, crackle at all.

EXCELLENT (EX) - a couple of very light scratches and scuffs can be seen, but they do not sound on playback. Minor crackle is just audible in quietest sections and run ins. Cover must have no visible flaws other than very light wear on edges and seams, no splits, no writing, no major creases, no holes, no tears.

VERY GOOD (VG) - faintly audible pops, scratches that do not interfere with the overall listening of the record, vinyl still retains nice, glossy overall sheen. Cover has more overall wear than EX, may have a few light stains, creases, very small tear (that's barely noticeable), minor insignificant writing (not big black marker pen!)

GOOD (G) - record is scratched and scuffed, audible in parts but still not overly detrimental to overall listening, vinyl has lost sheen and is looking 'tired', cover is worn, a few tears or creases, some writing or sticker damage etc

FAIR (F) - record jumps or sticks in parts, vinyl is badly faded, cover is badly worn, torn or defaced

POOR (P) - throw it in the bin...
