Description
Original 1968 issue on US A-Square 402. Both bands were part of Jeep Holland’s A-Square Records stable, but had moved on. Holland then released this split single, labeling the groups The Old Exciting Scot Richard Case and The Early Rationals. It received no attention and very little distribution.
The Rationals were an Ann Arbor, Michigan band, led by Scott Morgan on vocals. I Need You is a Kinks song, not to be confused with the Chuck Jackson song of that title that the Rationals also recorded (see listings below).
The Scot Richard Case was also based in Ann Arbor. They continued as SRC signing to Capitol Records and releasing three albums. Get The Picture is a Pretty Things song.
Record is unused/near-mint (new-old-stock). It has a mild (storage) warp that does not affect play.
