Description

One of the most interesting of teen idol crossover single recording artists, U.S. born Scott Engel  later recorded with, and achieved notoriety as, a member of the famed Walker Brothers recording group.  After moving to Britain in 1965 the Walker Brothers had a number of top ten albums and singles there including No 1 chart hits "Make It Easy on Yourself" and "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine", both of which also made the US top 20. Scott Engel, aka Walker, later became best known for his experimental and often dark artistic style, a far cry from this early solo recording of "Paper Doll" and "Blue Bell".
