Before the CD era, in the mid-70’s, a small number of record companies published 45-RPM LP’s in an effort to improve an album’s dynamic range and high frequencies. Although successful, the effort fell by the wayside with the dawn of the CD. This album is Angel's 45 RPM version of Joplin's best work.
