SCREAMIN' JAY HAWKINS - 'I PUT A SPELL ON YOU.'
MONO. UK original 1st pressing on yellow/black DIRECTION labels.
M 8-63481. (1968). Front laminated sleeve. Superb EX+/EX+ example.

UK original first press LP. This copy is EX+/EX+

Front laminated sleeve is in a very clean condition. The non-laminated rear of the sleeve remains clean and naturally off-white and as good as you could hope to find. No writing or defects of any kind, just light storage rubbing in a few places. Very slight discolouration to the reverse of the sleeve near the top edge and spine areas.

Labels are flawless and clean. Vinyl is very glossy and retains all natural shine. A few small pressing bubbles visible on the vinyl but these do not sound. Sound quality is amazing. More usually seen as a re-processed 'Stereo' LP. This is the rarer true 'MONO' taken from the original EPIC masters from the USA original LP 'At Home With Screamin' Jay Hawkins' in 1958. Being a CBS/Direction pressing the vinyl quality is great.

Sleeve is printed by Upton Printing Group.
Includes poly-lined inner sleeve.

This copy has been in my own private collection for about 20 years.
