SCREAMIN' JAY HAWKINS - 'WHAT THAT IS.'
STEREO. FRENCH original 1st pressing on PHILIPS labels. 852.151 BY (1969).
Laminated flipback sleeve, with coloured artwork on reverse!
FRENCH original front laminated flipback sleeve grades EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) condition. Intact, legible spine. Clean and solid condition with only very minor handling and storage wear. Clean as a whistle. The reverse of the sleeve is still brilliant showing no signs of ring wear and generally in amazing tip-top condition.
The UK version of this album sleeve has the artwork on the reverse in black and white, on this (in my opinion) superior French version the artwork is in full colour and comes with a vibrant laminated flipback sleeve!
Very scarce and very nice LP with excellent tracks. Includes the infamous 'Constipation Blues.'
Vinyl grades EXCELLENT (EX). Some quiet crackle and background noises in places. Some light surface marks. Plays extremely well with no skips or jumps. Labels are clean with no spindle marks. Nice item!
