To obtain Promo vinyl albums, 45's CD's or other promotional items you had to be a radio DJ or in the record business. This is from the private collection of a former music industry veteran. It has been in (smoke and pet free) storage and has never been played. Record was provided for promotion and was never shrink-wrapped, and has a hole punched in the upper left of the record jacket as shown in photos. Disc was only removed from paper inner sleeve to photograph. Screaming Trees ?– Something About Today 4-Track Special Edition Vinyl 12" 33? RPM Single-Sided Etched Maxi-Single Epic 49 73539 Made in USA Released 1990 Something About Today was the major label debut by Screaming Trees for Epic Records. It would be followed up by their first full album for the label, Uncle Anesthesia, in 1991. Two of the tracks from the EP ("Uncle Anesthesia" and "Ocean of Confusion") were later reused on the Uncle Anesthesia album, while a third, "Who Lies in Darkness," was later compiled on the Ocean of Confusion collection. The "Numb Inversion Version" of "Something About Today" remains exclusive to this EP. This 12" vinyl version contains all the songs on side A, while side B contains etchings made by the band. The jacket states: "These tracks may be on the forthcoming Epic release Uncle Anesthesia (46800) ...but then again, they may not."
