DVORAK: SLAVONIC DANCES - GEORGE SZELL & THE CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA
SUPER RARE FIRST EDITION STEREOPHONIC RELEASE ON THE COLOMBIA BLUE/BLACK LABEL.
DVORAK – SLAVONIC DANCES; Op. 46, Nos. 1-8; Op. 72, Nos. 1 & 2.
LABEL: COLUMBIA (BLUE & BLACK)
YEAR: 1965
CATALOGUE: SCX 6053
GRADING:
SLEEVE: VG+++ Sleeve is in fantastic condition. The reason for the downgrading is that there is some ringwear to the front. And some slight discolouration to the un-laminated back piece where the previous owner has also written her name in pencil. There are no major defects such as splitting or peeling.
VINYL: EX- Vinyl has a couple of very faint paper scuffs congruent with being removed from the sleeve. These can only be seen under bright light. Plays through beautifully with very light and occasional crackling that would most likely be removed following a deep clean. An absolute joy!!!
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
IF YOU DISAGREE WITH MY GRADING (Which is hope is very unlikely) PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK.
Records shipped in dedicated record mailer with stiffener.
Postage costs (Please contact for specific country if not listed):
U.K - £3.50 (recorded only)
US - £6.50
Europe - From £4.60
Rest of the world - From £6.50
I calculate postage using the Royal mail postage calculator. I charge an extra 50p for packing materials as i buy specialist record mailers and stiffeners. Sometimes records cost less to mail than i expect. In these cases i try to refund the difference. However, as I mail a number of records at one time i occasionally lose track of who paid what postage for what record. RATHER THAN LEAVING LESS THAN 5 STAR FEEDBACK, IF YOU HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED FOR POSTAGE PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL IMMEDIATELY REFUND YOU THE DIFFERENCE.
NO QUIBBLE FULL MONEY BACK GAUARANTEE IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR PURCHASE!
