Description
I've listed this as new although I've had it in my collection for years. Technically it's new old stock (NOS) but it's sealed as from the time it left the plant packing bench! And obviously I can't produce inner photos but you can check out the contents from the web.
Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab SEALED - Alex Korner’s Blues Incorporated- R & B FROM THE MARQUEE - Anadisq 200 Grams Half Speed LP. This MFSL Anadisq 200 heavy vinyl re-issue is a piece of musical history and is the only audiophile pressing of this classic recording.
This long out of print MFSL masterpiece is Special Limited Edition No. 1611 (of 7,500 I believe?).
Alex Korner is usually credited with laying down the groundwork for the British Blues Rock boom that subsequently launched the British Invasion on America. From The Beatles to The Rolling Stones to Eric Clapton, Alex Korner inspired the formation and success of the entire British Blues Rock scene. This is a MoFi gem not to be overlooked by an Audiophile collector of the burgeoning British Blues Scene. Personnel include Long John Baldry and the masterful, great, late Cyril Davies who did so much to influence Mick Jagger and Brian Jones on blues harp and musicology in general.
Tracks included are “Gotta Move” - “I Want To Put A Tiger In Your Tank” - “I Got My Mojo Working” - “Hoochie Goochie Man” - “I’m Built For Comfort” and much more.
You can see by the tracks on this why this 1962 LP was the forerunner/inspiration for the British Blues Rock scene.
Anadisq 200 Series are mastered with the GAIN SYSTEM and were designed to get the most from your sound system while capturing the incredible realism and presence in the listening experience without the annoyance of surface noise, distortion, hiss and disc warpage.
